The Image used as the main CrowHouse Logo, Site Banner and Site Entry Picture is entitled Bio-1. It was drawn by me in the late 1980's and later tweeked up and colorized in photoshop.
The image is a representation of the condition of human consciousness in its current state of transition. It can mean either one of two things - depending on your perspective. It represents humankind either succumbing to apathy and becoming the machine, or awakening to the matrix and thus breaking free of the machine.

As the human awakening has expanded greatly since the crowhouse was created. The logo has changed accordingly in an attempt to represent that growth.
