“Our deepest calling is to grow into our own authentic selfhood, whether or not it conforms to some image of who or what we ought to be. As we do so, we will not only find the joy that every human being seeks, we will also find our own path of authentic service in the world.”
And that was said by Parker J. Palmer.
Welcome to Surviving the Matrix, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Maxwell Igan. It's a pleasure to be with you once again. And I will be your host for the next hour.
Now folks, very often on these shows you have heard me complain about the government. You've heard me say that the problems that we face all come from our government, from government corruption and the corruption of the system itself. Now this is very true in many ways. It is the system itself that is corrupt that causes all of the problems. But ultimately, when you get down to the very nature of the system itself, what you find is that the system is us. It is we the people. We are the ones who support the system, and we are the ones who essentially hold it up in its every aspect due to our compliance with the system, and yet the system itself only exists on paper. It's just an idea. A set of rules that have been written down that the people work within the system continually add to in order to make the system itself more efficient. But ultimately, the problem with the system itself is us. It is we the people, because as I said, we are the ones who hold it up due to our compliance with the system.
Now just getting your head around this basic understanding can completely change your perspective of what the system is and how to fix the problems that we face as a species, because it becomes clear that non-compliance to the system is the way to fix the problems. And this is regardless of your position in society. This is regardless of whether you are a common worker, whether you are a policeman, whether you are a politician. Because all the people in all these walks of life, most of them are not happy with the state of the world. Most police officers I talk to certainly aren’t happy. And folks, when you look at police officers, some of them can be completely sociopathic, without empathy, totally cruel and totally inhuman. But again, a lot of that is generated simply by the fact that they are wearing that uniform, because that is the effect that uniforms have on people. A lot of the police officers that you meet, they really do not like the state of the world. Most of the good police officers actually end up leaving the force early due to stress related problems. I've actually recently met a lady whose husband was a police officer who had to leave the force because of stress related problems. Were sick of seeing dead people, sick of dealing with brain dead people within society.
And again, this is the type of society that has been created by society itself by the education system and by the whole hierarchical structure of this society. You can't blame the people. You have to blame the system. But then you've got to understand, as I said, that it is the people that are holding up the system.
So whenever you sit there and you say, “Well non-compliance would be good, but they wont let us do that.” What you are failing to see is that they are us. We are the ones who make up they. Whether this be they the police force, or they the politicians, or they the bankers. The people working within the banks, the tellers and the bank mangers, all these people, they come from the community. These are us. The miners, the people working for the gas companies that are carrying out the fracking. These are us. These are all people who come from the community. Many of these people are simply workers. They need the job in order to put food on the table. But what they are forgetting is it's a temporary reprieve. It's a band-aid, because they are saying they do what they do in order to put food on the table and to support their family and their children. But by their actions, and this goes especially for people working in the fracking industry, what they are doing is they are destroying the world so that they may be putting food on the table for their children now, but by doing so in the manner in which they are doing that, they are ensuring that their children will not have a world to live in. So they need to find another way of putting food on the table. And the best way to do that is connect with the community, connect with the people around you and find better ways of creating communal gardens and getting that food to the table for free, regardless of what the government tells you you have to do. And if the government tells you you can't grow food, then the people within the government and within the police forces who are supporting this ridiculous sort of legislation needs to realize what they are doing is, they are taking food away from their children and they are ensuring that their children and their grandchildren and countless generations to come will not have a habitable planet to live on.
You see it's all us, folks. We are the ones who are supporting this system by our compliance with it. And what we should be doing is supporting each other.
Now the current state of the world we live on is one of extreme crisis. And that's an understatement. I mean, we thought things were getting pretty bad with the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, but now compound that oil spill with the situation that's happening in Fukushima Japan, and then compound that with the problem of fracking that we are now facing in all of our countries, and then compound that with the situation that is now happening in Libya, in Gaza, in Egypt, all through the Middle East. Compound that with the massive amount of depleted uranium that are being released into the environment through these wars, then it becomes very obvious that both the human race and the planet itself are in a time of extreme crisis.
And this crisis is truly a reflection of us. It is a reflection of our failure to conquer the fear within us. And it the fear within us that keeps us subservient to this fictional system that seems to be intent on destroying all life, except itself and that which serves the system.
But it is a crisis, folks. And it's a crisis that can still be averted if humanity steps up to the mark and addresses the problem head on. But it absolutely has to be addressed head on. It has to be addressed peacefully, but it has to be addressed head on. And it has to be addressed by the people. We can't allow the governments to address it or even expect the governments to address it, because the governments operate only within the system. And the system is designed to only ever support the system. We need to dispense with the red tape, folks. We need to simply act, because we don't have time to waste on red tape.
And now folks, if things weren’t bad enough with what we're facing from incidents such as the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and the nuclear meltdown that’s happening at Fukushima Japan, the problem of fracking is simply the last straw. Because fracking, which is hydraulic fracturing. This is pumping fluids, very toxic fluids, I might add, into the crust of the earth 8,000 – 11,000 feet into the crust of the earth and shattering everything down there and mixing it all together to allow the gas deposits to escape. And what this does is it mixes all the underground aquifers. It blows them up. All the water that comes up in brooks and springs from the ground, it destroys all of these water sources.
Now, most of the creeks and rivers that flow in our countries start as springs. All of these springs flow up from underground aquifers. Of course, there’s a great deal of runoff from things such as precipitation, but a good bulk of the water that comes down in creeks and streams and brooks from the forest is fed by springs. Fracking destroys these underground aquifers and this will effectively destroy many of the fresh water sources on this planet. Bear in mind folks, that there is only about 3% of the water on this planet that is potable, drinkable water. And at any given time there is only anywhere from 1 – 3% of that, that exists above ground. The rest of it exists in aquifers below the surface of the earth, and fracking will destroy these aquifers.
When we explore space and we look for life signs on other planets, the first thing we look for is water, because only with water can life exist. And what fracking is essentially doing is destroying the fresh water source on this planet. Our governments have already worked very hard to destroy all life in the oceans on this planet with the amount of oil spills and deep wells they have drilled into the ocean. We seem to be moving very fast towards destroying the air on this planet with the meltdown that we are seeing happening in Fukushima, which is also going a very long way to destroying the oceans on this planet as well. We seem to be indulging in endless wars, which is very effectively contaminating the planet with depleted uranium and destroying a lot of the human life on the planet and also keeping people very distracted from all of the other damage that is being done.
Now it's imperative that the people stand up to address these problems. With the problem that we're facing from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and the problem that we are facing with the Fukushima meltdown, it's about time the human race grew up and started acting like adults, stopped squabbling with each other. You soldiers who are going to wars, stop squabbling with each other. Simply walk away from your leaders. And all you people within society, stop depending on your counselors and senators to save you. Sure, keep writing to them and telling them what you want done, but don't expect them to do anything. You have to stand up and do it yourself. And the soldiers that are fighting for these people, wake up and stop fighting for the destruction of the earth, because that's what you're all doing. We all need to stop for a minute and to pay attention to what's going on around us.
And we need to stop this fracking, folks. We need to stop this at all costs. And we need to seriously and clearly understand that any politician that is allowing fracking or supporting fracking in their area is openly contributing to the destruction of the water table on this planet and needs to step down from office immediately. And the police of our world need to see what is going on here, and they need to take immediate action to address this type of criminal activity, because it is criminal activity, regardless of what legislation is in place to say that it is not. Anybody who is supporting this or who is enforcing legislation that is supporting this is contributing to the destruction of the water table on this planet. And this will be the last straw, It's very unlikely that the earth will recover from something like this.
So what more could it possibly take? What more could it possibly take for the human race to actually get up off its knees, to stand on its feet and to say, “Enough is enough”?
We cannot allow life on this planet to be subservient and essentially enslaved to a fictional, legal and political system that only exists on paper, whose sole purpose seems to be to milk this planet of resources. We simply can't allow it to happen. Because by continuing to ignore all of these problems, we are simply allowing them to compound into one very very big problem.
Just look at the state of the earth . Endless. destruction. Endless wars. Endless pollution. And the almost complete breakdown of our environment as we are now seeing with all the disasters that we have allowed to be created through our inaction and our willingness to turn a blind eye. Our need to simply focus on the good or to simply allow the world to be destroyed around us because if we believe that if we ignore it and block out all the negative activity in the world we will ascend to a higher dimension. Despite our willingness to allow all of the atrocities that are carried out in the world to continue via our inaction or perhaps we are simply the type of person who believes in the last moment a savior is going to arrive and rescue us, despite the fact that as a race we have never even shown an ounce of responsibility or even once ever attempted to rescue ourselves.
Unfortunately, the goal of most people that exist in this modern social system is acquisition. Ownership of all that they can in the belief that this will improve them as a person. In the belief that it will open up the mysteries of life and bring them happiness and joy and completion. But all it really does is serve to isolate them from other people. They're always looking after their stuff. They are too scared someone will take their stuff from them. And they've spent their whole life in the acquisition of stuff, only to find at the end of their life they can't take any of it with them and it's all just stuff. Stuff that has very often caused them to miss out on ever finding out on who they were and to miss out on connecting with those around them. The acquisition of stuff has led to the need for money, which will even allow for things like fracking to happen, because people are so caught up with money.
The money system is very insidious, folks. It is totally designed to enslave people to debt. And we see a situation now where our farmers are being forced off the land because of imaginary debt, thereby opening their land up for fracking. And on the other side of the coin, we are seeing the operators, the miners, the people who carry out the fracking, are in a situation where they are in debt, so they need to go and get jobs in order to maintain their lifestyle, maintain the payments on all the stuff that they really don't need, but that the television has convinced them that they do. And very often the more money people collect, the more they want. They collect $5,000 and they what to turn it into 10. They collect 10, they want to turn it into 20. Then they want 50. And maybe they can turn that into 100. And it keeps going and going and going.
And because the monetary system itself is interest based and therefore designed to keep people in shortage and because there will never be enough money in circulation to pay off everybody’s debt no matter how much money is printed, then the more one person collects for themselves, the more someone else has to go without.
So it's a system designed to serve only self and to throw people out onto the trash pile all the way up the food chain until all wealth is transferred into the hands of those who issue the currency. It's quite literally 3-D Monopoly. Very clever folks and very, very insidious indeed.
And at the risk of repeating myself ad naseum, as I have so often said, the way to address this problem is to connect with each other, to build community and to support others within your community. Because there is no reason for any of this stuff to be going on. There is no reason for any of us to have to put up with any of the problems that we face. The only reason that we have to put up with these problems is because we work within the system. And yet if we change ourselves, if we change within our selves and start helping those around us, start treating other people as ourselves, the whole system breaks down.
We've just got to get away from money, folks. We don't need money. Money is fictional. It doesn't exist. It's simply a system designed to keep people in shortage. It's fascinating how difficult it is for most people to get their head around how the money system works, but it really is the root of the whole problem. It's the main system of control that's in place that prevents people from ever really thinking about anything else. Most people are completely preoccupied with money. Money or sex; that’s about it for this civilization. And we run around doing this as we live in our temporary accommodations, enslaved to permanent debt and we strip mine the planet around us to acquire all of these things, none of which we can keep, because the only thing that is inevitable in life is death. And that is the one thing that we have been taught to fear most, when in reality all life is, is the preschool that prepares you for what happens after. And we have been taught our whole life to fear what happens after, simply because it is the unknown.
Now, whatever your belief system is – whether you believe in ascension to a higher dimension. Whether you believe in the rapture, whether you believe Esa is going to come back and save us. Whether you believe Christ is going to come and save us. Whatever form of enlightenment or salvation you believe you may receive. Whatever your belief system is, what most people fail to see is that enlightenment and spiritual or conscious evolution, salvation, whatever you want to call it, can only happen if people participate in the world in which they currently inhabit. It will only happen after we break down the barriers that currently exist within our society and within ourselves. It will only happen once people connect with each other, forgive those around us. If you have a problem with someone. If you believe you have been wronged by someone, forgive them. It doesn't matter if they actually did do something wrong. They only did it because they were disconnected, and you only felt the need for vengeance against them because you were disconnected. Both you and possibly they, lost sight of what reality actually is and how reality actually works.
One of the most insidious and spiritually damaging emotions that a person can feel is vengeance. The need for retribution. The need to go and make life difficult or cause hardship for somebody else because they believe themselves to have been wronged. This is one of the most damaging emotions that a person can put into the field. And this seems to be one of the most common emotions that our society generates within people, but it is the most damaging, folks. So if you feel you have been wronged, understand that it's all based on a misconception of reality and the best thing you can do for yourself is to forgive those you believe have wronged you. And I simply can't emphasize the importance of this, folks. I simply cannot emphasize the importance of forgiveness for everybody. Don't hold grudges against people. Forgive them for what they have done. Perhaps you've tried to help someone, they’ve cost you money and you feel like you've been ripped off. Or perhaps you feel you’ve been stolen from, when really you haven't been, because if you offered to help someone freely than it should have been a gift and should have required no payback at all, because that’s what a gift is. Or a gift that someone has given requires obligations to the receiver, than what you have given to that person simply isn’t a gift. It's a debt. So take all of these things into account when you are thinking about your relationships with people and simply forgive those around you. Forgiveness is one of the most powerful emotions you can have, because true forgiveness comes only from empathy and compassion. And empathy and compassion are the interface and the very fabric of creation itself. These are the two most important emotions that you can feel, and these are the two emotions that are most repressed by this society.
You see, ultimately it's up to the individual, folks It's up to each one of us, as Gandhi said, be the change that we would like to see in the world. So if you can operate in empathy, compassion and forgiveness for those around you, understand that they are yourself, understand that the only problems these people have ever had have been the direct result of the misconception of reality that this society has provided them with, you can start seeing people in a completely different light. You can start feeling compassion and empathy and sympathy and love and connection for every single person that you come into contact with. But don't seek violence, and don't seek vengeance towards people. Vengeance is a terrible, terrible emotion. And to follow a path of vengeance is to follow a path of self destruction. It really does lead nowhere else.
These type of emotions really are soul destroying, folks. They eat you up inside and they eat up the life that you've got. They sever your connections with other people and in doing so, they sever your connection with yourself. Such emotions usually come around to bite you when you're not looking.
It's very difficult for people to truly understand the fact that emotion is a language. It's one of the hardest things for people to get grips with. I mean, many people do know it. You can tell people emotions are a language, but then they still have these emotional extremes. They still find themselves fighting with other people, throwing expectations and other negative emotions at people. Many will sit around and talk about higher languages and talk about higher consciousness, but they yet still will do these things to those around them. So they haven't really learned. Because they truth is, every time that they project such an emotion onto somebody else, they are quite literally damaging reality.
I think we are at about break time here folks, so I'll leave it there for now and we’ll go and have a break. Thank you very much for joining me today. And I will speak to you again in a few minutes.
Welcome back, folks. So before the break I was talking about how most peoples lives are based around acquisition. Ownership of something; ownership of land, ownership of possessions, ownership of other people, when in fact, the reality is that no ownership is ever lasting, because you can't take anything with you once you've finished in this place. And ownership and acquisition throughout this life simply distracts you from life itself. The need to acquire more and more things leads to conflict, leads to jealousy, leads to social hierarchy. It leads to all sorts of things, very few of which are spiritually sound or even necessary for one to live a fulfilled life. And the reason most people seek to acquire these things throughout their life is because they have unrealistic perception of what fulfillment of life is. And again, this comes from our system. It comes from a left brain education. It comes from the fact that most people are taught throughout school, throughout their entire life, that the meaning of life is the one with the most wins. But as we have discussed on this show many times, life is not actually about that, and in fact pursuing that type of attitude in life simply creates division within society. It supports social hierarchy. It supports class division. It drives ego and causes one to view other human beings with judgment and very often disdain, simply because one may own more stuff than them and it is stuff that has usually been acquired through the exploitation of other people.
And it's always exploitation, folks because as I have often discussed, the money system itself is designed to keep people in shortage, There is never enough money to go around. So the more stuff and the more money one acquires for themselves, the less somebody else has got, and so another person is thrown on the trash heap.
You see, this is the way our system works, folks. And that is why a constant preoccupation with acquisition is probably one of the worst things you can do for society in general. Ultimately it's one of the worst things you can do for yourself as well, because all it does is lead you away from who you are, because life is not about self. Life is about life. Life is about finding yourself and finding your true path. Finding your dharma. Life is about being yourself to your fullest potential and allowing others and helping others to do the same. It's not about dependence upon other people. It's not about control of other people. It's not about the expectations that you may have of other people. It's not even about the expectations you may have of yourself. It's simply about discovering. And as soon as people discover that we are each other and they start treating each other as each other, then the whole world changes.
Life is very much on one hand the way Bill Hicks said, like a roller coaster ride and we make of it that which we will. And on the other hand it's like one endless classroom where we learn about ourselves, we learn about our higher emotions and we learn about how we effect reality around us by what we think, how we feel, how we act and how we treat other people. Essentially, how we treat the creation. And ultimately a good life is a life where a person has learned to serve the creation for the creator. Serve the creation in every aspect of the creation. Because if society was to do that, then every person within society would live in a constant state of abundance.
Abundance is not something that would be hard for society as a whole to achieve, and all that would be required to do so is for people within society to simply adjust their mindset to one of service to the creation. If they did that, the whole thing would change virtually instantly. Suddenly there would not be any problems. It's just that people have this misconception of service as well. They think of service and they think of slavery. They view service as non voluntary unpaid work, so they have a complete misconception of what the word actually means anyway, and they have a misconception of what reality is. And again, they have this misconception simply because of the society we live in and what people are trained to think. So you can't blame them for it, folks.
Most people are simply asleep because they have been trained to be that way. And it's often very very difficult to wake people up to these things. The best way to do it is to lead by example. Because if you put yourself in a state of service to the creation, then you will find that your life will change. You will find that you're suddenly become a pleasure to be around, people will want to spend more time with you and things will simply unfold. Life itself would just unfold for you. You'll start noticing the synchronicity in your life, and life will very often lead you to some very wonderful places that you never dreamed would ever be part of your life. It truly is amazing how things just fall together when one operates in a state of service. You'll also find that you are much happier in a state of service, because the people around you are happier. And you actually gain a lot through service to others, because the more you give to someone, the more you give to the creation around you, the more fulfilled and complete you feel inside and the more the creation around you and the people within it will give to you. So you find yourself in a constant state of abundance simply because you live in a constant state of service.
And I'm living proof that it works folks, because it absolutely works for me. I mean, I may not have a lot or own a lot, but I always live in a state of abundance simply because I am never in a state of need. People around me won't allow me to be in a state of need, because I would never allow them to be in a state of need.
It all evens out, folks. I don't need to own a lot of stuff. I don't need a lot of stuff, because life is not about stuff. Life is about life and the stuff that you acquire and gather to you through life very often just ties you down, keeps you locked in one spot and you have to constantly work to maintain the standard of your stuff. Get bigger houses to put your stuff in because you have more stuff you need a bigger house. It's just ridiculous. And very often people are so preoccupied with this stuff that they miss out on everything around them. They spend their lives maintaining it, only to find that along the way that they missed out on themselves.
So it's this constant need for stuff, this constant need for acquisition that creates many of the problems that we see in our society. It puts people in situations where they would go and carry out something like fracking, simply to get more money to gain more stuff, to gain more social status, or to hoard more paper for themselves, because they believe that in times of crisis lots of paper will get them through, even though in such times the paper is very likely to have lost all its value and be useless to them anyway, because that's the way that fiat currency works. Paper money has no intrinsic value. It makes a good fire, but that's about it. And even a fire made from paper may be very dramatic, but it's a very short lived experience. So it's not even really that good for that.
It truly is amazing folks, when you look at our society and you see the value that people put on this stuff, when it's just paper. But people value paper and they value digital credits in their account. Even though if the bank was to close one day or the computer system was to crash, all of those digital credits would disappear into cyberspace and never be known of again. And yet all around them is life and abundance and people. People just like them. People with the same wants, needs and desires. People with the same need for love and companionship and compassion and empathy. People just like them, all of who have a massive amount of potential.
And the potential that they human race holds if it were to unite as one species and view each other on common ground, is quite amazing, folks. And it would be so good to see humanity do this; simply unite with each other. To realize that all we have to do is start treating each other as ourselves. That’s the key to the whole thing.
And I know that I've talked about this a lot, folks. I've said on so many radio shows that the key to everything is to treat others as yourself, to follow the one law and to serve the creation. And people may be getting sick of hearing me say that, but I say it so often because it truly is the answer, folks. That is the answer to all the problems that we face. It's just that it's so simple that people can't see it, because people can't get their head away from this money thing. They can't get their head away from money, acquisition and ownership. They can't bring themselves to give to another person because they cannot see any monetary or material gain from helping others. They can't see how helping others will help them with their acquisition of more stuff, because that’s what they perceive life to be about. It's truly very sad, because people who feel that way, spend their whole lives in the acquisition of stuff and they don't realize until the very end of their lives that it's just stuff and how different their life would have been if they'd lived in a state of service and actually got to know the people and the creation around them during their lives.
Almost everywhere I go, I see people who are searching for answers. People who are searching for that higher part of themselves. People who are searching for happiness. But again, many of these people are very cautious never to let anybody get too close to them. They want companionship, but they are scared to ever expose the inner parts of themselves. What they are often looking for in companionship is solace from another or a relationship with another which is usually based on dependence and control. I see many people with very strong emotional ties to each other. I see a lot of energy play being conducted with people. I see very, very few people who are actually connected to source and who are receiving their energy from source and who are simply serving the creation. And this seems to be a ubiquitous thing. It seems to be everywhere. I'm seeing all sorts of weird relationship play going on with people. Very, very strange energy connections with people. But something I've noticed with the amount of orgonite that I've got in the area here now, is that things seem to be revealing themselves with people as well. And these revelations are in themselves wonderful opportunities for people to find out things about themselves and to realize the energy play that is going on and to reconnect themselves with source.
And this energy play seems to be global, folks. There are people I know that are quite intelligent people that are having trouble writing. Sometimes their speech will get a little slurred. There have been reporters on TV who have been speaking virtual gibberish. Apparently it happened to Judge Judy a few weeks ago as well. So it seems to be a global thing. There is definitely some sort of strange energy shift going on at the moment.
And being aware of these types of things is half the battle folks. If you’re having thoughts that you don't feel are your own, or you find yourself involved in some energy play with someone else, being aware of it is 80% of the battle, because once you are aware that all this energy stuff is going on, that it's something in the field because it's literally happening globally, then that really shores up your defenses against this sort of activity and this sort of energy play. You can start reconnecting yourself, start coming back to source and serving the creation and changing reality around you from your own center. Again, being the change that we need to bring into the world. But in order to do this, in order to come back to center and to reconnect with source, as I said, you need to be aware that this situation is occurring. Be aware of the energy field around you.
We are indeed in very dramatic times, folks. Very interesting times, but very dramatic times. It's very difficult to see which way the cards are going to fall at this stage, but we are most certainly facing a crisis on this planet. A crisis both environmental and emotional- psychological. And it's extremely important that the human race maintain their energy through this period, because once the human race reaches an energy of compassion and understanding and empathy for each other and for the earth, we can change things. We can literally change everything. But we have to connect. We have to connect with each other.
Even when you stand up against frackers coming to your property, you can't hate these people. You can't be violent towards these people. You simply have to try to help them understand you're not letting them on your property because you respect the earth, and you respect them and you respect their children. When addressing the bankers and the money cartels, when addressing corrupt world leaders, when addressing all the problems that we face folks, it's really important that none of it is done from a center of hatred.
Humanity has lost its way. And the fault of it is both the system that keeps us lost and our own acquiescence to this system. Our failure to see reality for what it is. Our failure to connect with each other.
You see, ultimately all of the problems that we face in the world come from us ourselves. All of the problems come from our failure to adjust our emotional state, to adjust our energetic state. As soon as we stop basing our lives on personal acquisition, on ownership, on the worship of stuff that we can never take with us; as soon as we get ourselves out of this mindset and realize that what we actually are, are the custodians of this planet, the custodians of freedom and life on this planet for future generations.
It's always been up to us, folks. Everything that has happened. Everything we have ever faced. It's always been up to us, and yet we've have always looked towards others for them to fix the problems we face. But by doing so, what we have failed to see is that the others that we look for are us. It's all us. There is only us. There is no others. There is just us.
All the politicians, all the workers, all the soldiers, the leaders, every corrupt criminal on the planet, and every good person on the planet, every savior of the planet that lives on the planet – it's all us. It's always been us, folks. We are the source of every problem we have ever faced, and therefore we are also the source of every solution we could ever need. The key is for us to connect with each other and realize that it's all about us.
It really would be very simple to fix the world folks, if people would just open their eyes. Turn off your television set. Go and connect with your neighbors. Go and walk around the yard barefoot. Feel the earth beneath your feet. Go and plant a garden somewhere. Help a child. Help an old person. Help your neighbor. Help anybody, but help somebody. Because when you do this, you help yourself. You help the creation. You help reality itself to heal.
We are facing dire times on this planet folks, with what we ourselves have allowed to occur on this planet with all of the monstrous environmental damage that's being carried on around us. Fukushima, Gulf of Mexico, fracking, and all the rest of this stuff way too numerous to name. It's all us that's done it all, regardless of who or what is actually in charge of the place. Because what's necessary is for people to really look at how the machine works and what powers the machine. And gain, it's us folks, and our belief that the machine is real. Our belief that we need to spend our lives in a constant state of acquisition. Our belief that we need to destroy the planet around us in order to support this so called advanced lifestyle that we're living in, which is not advanced at all. It is simply people living in temporary accommodations in a debt based society who are strip mining the earth in order to do it. And if people would simply step back and look at the world for what it really is, well that should be a little bit of a sign for people, folks.
Well folks, we are getting very close to the end of the show here. Suffice to say that there is certainly going to be some interesting times ahead. We are facing a very unique situation at the moment. Simply taking everything that's occurring on the world into account, putting them all together on one stage, it certainly isn't anything like anything that we've faced before. And as I said earlier, it's very difficult to see which way the cards are going to fall.
But whichever way the cards do fall, what is the most important thing through everything that we face, is for people to maintain their energy, for people to simply connect with each other and to see all of these global events as an opportunity for growth. An opportunity for spiritual growth, for the growth of consciousness, for the growth of themselves. An opportunity for reconnection to source. An opportunity to serve the creation. And even if worse comes to worse, the most important thing through even that transition is to maintain your energetic state.
It's all about energy, folks. The earth is changing most certainly and naturally the human race is changing right along with it. And this is of course the case. It always has been the case. And whatever the change the earth goes through, these changes will be mirrored in humanity and visa versa. In fact, it is the changes that humanity has gone through that has placed the earth in the state of peril that it is now in.
I don't believe in man-made climate change. I don't believe in a lot of things that we are told by the media and by our governments, but I do very much believe that man is very, very responsible for the condition of the planet that we live on. It's just that the damage that we are facing on the planet is not climate change. Climate change is simply a naturally occurring event, where as things such as Fukushima and the Gulf of Mexico and fracking are not.
But even through these things are occurring, it's the public awareness of the fact that they are occurring that is the issue. Because what is important is whether the people of the planet see the opportunity for awareness and change that is being provided to them.
Well, it looks like that's about it for me today, folks. We have now come to the end of the time for the day. Thank you very much for continuing to visit The CrowHouse. Thank you very much for any help you can give me with the website. It is very much needed at the moment. Times have been very tight in the last few months. And I very much thank anybody who has shown any support for the website thus far.
For those of you living in Australia, Ben Stewart will be visiting the country again soon. The maker of Esoteric Agenda and Climatica. He will be doing talks in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Byron Bay. These events will be taking place I believe between the 27th of May and the 5th of June. Ben will be discussing his new films and the Hangman Project. I'll bring you some more information about that next week. Or you can visit the tour website which is, www.hangedmantour.com.au for more details.
That is it for me for the day. Thank you very much for spending this time with me today and for listening to the show. I'll look forward to speaking to you again next week. Take care until then.
